Great size bed and shower. Good facilities in the room. Everything felt very modern and clean, all for a reasonable price. Plus the foyer is one of the coolest, quirkiest foyers I've ever seen.
Loved our two night stay here! We arrived early at 11AM from our overnight flight and asked the front desk if we could stow our bags until check-in at 3PM. The front desk staff warmly greeted us and surprised us when they informed us our room was ready so we can check-in early. The king size bed room follows a capsule hotel model so the room is small, but didn't feel cramped. It had a modern layout and many drawers and nooks to place luggage in. The room was very clean and we loved how quiet the upper floor was. Our bed was super comfy and it felt like a cozy corner to be in after exploring the city all day. The fire alarm went off at 4AM the second night during our stay. The front desk was very apologetic the next morning for the disturbance and offered free coffees for the inconvenience. Great location with a short 10min walk to the tube station, Tate Modern or Borough Market. Overall a good choice for travelers that want a well priced stay in a clean, modern setting that is centrally located with friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again!
This hotel's got a crazy high Google rating, but I have no idea why. Location's good, bed's comfy, that's about it. Everything else was a total letdown. My wife and I stayed here for a few days. The room had a sink right next to the bed, not in the washroom. The 'washroom' was a partitioned area with a door that didn't close properly, so I had to hold it shut while using the toilet. Then, I'd walk out to wash my hands at the sink in the main room – which, by the way, was tiny, barely larger than those on planes. And no kettle in the room! That's just basic, right? And the fancy tablet controls for everything just seemed like overkill when the room was so lacking. Honestly, the room was super uncomfortable.
