The family had a super stay at the Hotel. They did a decoration in the room for our anniversary as we requested and also sent a complimentary cake wishing us. The kids really enjoyed the stay and rooms are comfortable and nice. The view in our room was not that great but its worth the price paid and the pool is also in great condition. The only issue is there is no kids or baby pool so had to be very careful with the little ones. The beach area is also clean and nice. The food is delicious and spread is ok for the value spent. The dining are is not air conditioned and at times can be difficult. Overall our experience was great and staff are very friendly and supportive. The kids specially enjoyed and we also had a great anniversary celebration. The dinner and breakfast buffet was the best.
I had read some of the not so amazing reviews and was apprehensive about this hotel . However although the fabric of the building could do a refurbishment the staff and facilities more than make up for this. The food is varied with excellent service from the waiting staff. The pool is lovely and kept clean by the pool staff who are tirelessly sweeping the leaves from the surrounding trees. The Balinese spa offers lovely treatments that are good value . The hotels location right on the beach is second to none . Although we couldn’t swim right in front of the hotel due to strong currents if you walk down the beach you can and if you walk up you get to the beach where turtles swim up for food . Oh and the cocktails are very cheap !
Disappointing. The rooms were not cleaned properly at check-in, the bathroom had water leaks, and most importantly, there was no hot water in the shower. The hotel staff also wasn't very pleasant and simply said nothing could be done about the issues after complaints. The three-meal buffet kitchen works hard. However, the food spread could be a lot better. Many curries and meats also taste a little too similar, as if they are using the same spice mixes everywhere. Despite the pretty beach, Citus was not worth the price nor the hassle.
