The City Hotel is a beautiful place to holiday. The rooms are spacious and room service is great. However, the TV set is too small and the hotel doesn't have a gym.
City Hotel Ankara has friendly, welcoming staff who made the stay pleasant. The rooms are comfortable, but it’s clear they could use some updates—having stayed here several times over the years, I’ve noticed that little has changed, and the decor and amenities feel outdated. One downside is the lack of nearby dining options, which can be challenging, especially for late-night meals. It’s a convenient option if you’re looking for basic comfort, but with a bit of modernization and more restaurant choices, it could be an even better experience.
The hotel staff is quite friendly, the location is also in a good place - in the Chankaya area. The breakfasts are good. I did not like that the room has a huge panoramic window, which is very hot by the sun and because of this, the room becomes impossible stuffy and hot. The air conditioner works very poorly and almost does not cool, and for some reason a non-working refrigerator was put in the room. On repeated requests to fix the refrigerator for several days, they promised to send a technician, in the end they said that they would not fix it.
