City Hotel Glarnerland

We met a couple of friends staying at the hotel and enjoyed a dinner together. Food, drinks, and service have been on a high level. The hotel-restaurant is located in the slightly remote industrial area of the town near the Linth Arena.

Good Hotel to stay. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We had a kitchenette in it with a huge refrigerator. A Good sized bathroom ensuite. Bed and mattress were good and comfy to sleep well in. Breakfast standard and good. We celebrated the morning with Champagne due to Birthday. Friendly staff.

We were recieved here after our building went on fire and for almost one week this hotel was our home. I really want to appreciate Jazmin Garcia, the responsible for the personal workes, She is exemplar very very sweet and always open to help and proveid us the best care, mrs. Ilaina, Mimi, Daniela for the always smile and care, the house chef a big thank you. From this part of the hotels workers we were very welcome. The only detail that came not go good was about the ladies who made the cleaning...., because I have a dog they were always scared and showing a very not happy face about my dog. Personally speaking this part was very annoying because we came from a catastrophe with our building and this type of atitude and drama was totally unacceptable and unnecessary. When you have a hotels that is animal allowed they must do better, even if personally speaking they are not in favor of having pets. Specially considering our situation that me and my neighbours and our pets were, dealing with fire, our animals were dealing with a lot of stress and fear. At the end, the hotel want to charge a extra cleaning bill because of my dog, let's see how this situation goes... We could see the differences between cleaning ladies because one of them was really bad and the other who came during the week was really good. In future I wish this hotels the better luck and success 🙌 In general was a good experience
