City Palace Hotel

Absolutely breathtaking city on the lake. Very reasonable pricing for everything. There is something for everyone. Want history, tour the old parts of the town and the fortress. Want to enjoy the lake, go on a boat tour. Just want to relax with a coffee and enjoy the view, spend $1 USD and have 2 coffees.

The location of this hotel with its proximity to the lake and old town are fantastic. The rooms are very dated. I would categorize them as passable. The staff ok. I would also categorize them as passable. It was fine for a two night stay.

❌ Extremely Disappointing – This Is NOT a 4-Star Hotel! ❌ This was hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I honestly don’t understand how this place has four stars — it doesn’t even come close! 🛏️ BED BUGS. Yes, actual bed bugs. I woke up with bites and found tiny blood spots on the sheets. Absolutely disgusting. 🧼 Dirty and unhygienic. The floors weren’t clean, the bathroom smelled bad, and the blankets were stained and smelled horrible. 👎 The staff’s attitude was terrible – zero professionalism, zero willingness to help. Just rude and careless. 🔊 No respect for guests. ⭐ Only the location is good, everything else was a nightmare. I am deeply disappointed. Don’t be fooled by the pictures or rating. This hotel is a complete scam. 🚫 Would give it ZERO stars if I could.
