I only spent time by the pool – everything was great, the area was clean and pleasant. However, the music was way too loud. It was difficult to have a conversation with someone nearby without raising our voices. It would also be nicer if the music was more of a soft background type rather than loud Russian "boom boom" music, which didn’t really match the relaxing atmosphere. Let me know if you'd like it to sound more formal or more casual depending on where you're posting it.
I was a bit worried after reading the reviews, but I’m glad I didn’t cancel my booking. Some guests seem to expect 5-star service, but let’s be real — the room rate is more in the 3–4 star range. My room was clean, beautifully decorated, and even had a working bathtub — surprisingly rare in my other Uzbekistan stays, where the drain couldn’t be sealed properly. Yes, only 1 out of 4 elevators actually works, and you won’t know which one unless you press your floor number (they all appear operational). There was also a hiccup at check-in — I was given a room that hadn’t been cleaned yet (just checked out), but it was quickly resolved. The location is excellent — close to a big supermarket, local bazaar, and the Amir Timur Museum, all within walking distance. Breakfast was decent, with a good selection of hot and cold dishes, and an amazing variety of local fruits. Overall, a great value stay — I’d happily come back.
Absolutely horrible service. Apart from the front desk 2 girl that are sweet and helpful. Rest of the staff is untrained, uninterested to be there. God knows why this is a 5 star! Out of 4 lifts 2 work that to noisily. At 2 o clock peak lunch time they want us to sit in the non air conditioned section because they have a coffee break. They wouldn’t hand over our luggage because of the their own handwriting not being readable as if it can’t be ours. The staff cuts the line for coffee during breakfast which is excellent(sarcastic). Food is below average.
