City Suites Beimen

Great location, budget-style rooms. (4.5/5 value) The location of this hotel is very convenient, the hotel has a 7-eleven just beside the hotel, and a family mart across the street. It is also super accessible to go to Beimen Station and moderately easy to go to both Taoyuan Airport MRT and Taipei Main, taking about 3 minutes to Beimen, 6 minutes to Taoyuan Airport MRT and 10-20 minutes to Taipei Main Station via underground tunnel. Now let's talk about the rooms. The rooms are budget-style rooms you would find in somewhere like Tokyo. To be honest, that might be because I only paid 1300 NTD to stay 3 nights using Taiwan Lucky Land Accommodation voucher via Klook. The service is quite good for a hotel, with polite staff providing a speedy check-in.

Positive points: 🌟Nice hotel, great location. 🌟I caught the flu and the reception checked on me, they were very helpful and kind. 🌟The room is spacious but it needs a few more amenities like a hairbrush for example. 🌟 They provide water everyday it's also nice. 🌟 good price in my opinion. Negative points: Room isn't soundproof v.v it was difficult to sleep for me. Also some amenities are missing like a hairbrush.

The room is not very sound proof, I hear people walking along the corridor for the entire night so couldn't sleep very well. When I check in to my room, the bin in my room has a used mask from previous customer. Having said this, other part is quite well cleaned. The cleaner most prob missed the mask in the bin. There's no water dispenser unlike its other branch (I've stayed in city suites - Taipei main station previously which has one). Staffs (both receptionist and cleaner) are super friendly so a plus plus.
