Cityinn Hotel Plus Taichung Station Branch

Acceptable stay for 3 nights in Taichung. Room was acceptable for 2 pax, bed size is queen. Room wall abit thin which can hear sound if someone is making love. Breakfast was acceptable, not much variety. Location is near Taichung station. Easy to take to HSR Taichung to Taoyuan International Airport. One thing is Taichung train maps is very little and abit inconvenient to try to some places. You will need to book Uber.

I stayed in this hotel this Nov and was very happy with it. It's a walking distance from the train station. Apart from the room is on the smaller side, the rooms including the bathroom are spot less. As soon as we checked in, the lovely staff (Helen Chen who needs a special mention as she was very friendly and helpful while we were there) recommended nice places to go and visit. We had great fun visiting those places. We booked day trips via the hotel, the pick up point for one of them was a little bit of walk from the hotel, when we were on the mini bus, the driver/tour guide got a call from the hotel staff to check if we have been picked up. I left a few charging cables on the table during the day, and the room service staff winded and tied them up neatly for me. The breakfast buffet has a good amount of varieties, the foods are very fresh and services are great. The hotel has free laundry room to use, has nice sitting areas if you want to catch up with friends and drink machines are provided as well for free. There is a kids play room. Surprisingly, the hotel also has a big scale so we can easily check our luggage weight before check out. Thank you CityInn and hope to visit you again in the future.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our stay in Taichung. We are a family of 3 (with a 1 year old baby) Pros - - Superb location, just 3 minutes from Taichung station where we had arrived at from Hualien. - Loads of eateries around the hotel, most in walking distance. - Staff is friendly and helpful with all our requests. - Free laundry and a nice waiting area. We used this twice during our 3 day stay. - Free-flow water and coffee supply on the ground floor. The coffee wasn't great though. - Comfortable bed, not too hard/soft. - Our request for a baby cot was fulfilled, though it meant compromising on the space in the little room. - Good shower pressure. We were provided with a baby tub, which made bathing our baby easier. Cons - - Rooms can be cramped and if you are tall, the bed can be restrictive. - Temperature control in the rooms is. a bit painful, it can get too hot or too cold over the course of the night. - WiFi is just ok, downstairs is better.
