Clarendon Forest Retreat

We stayed for 2 nights, we were lucky to stay in the waterlily and the summerhouse. Both chalets were beautiful and scenery was spectacular. Lots of activities and board games for the kids, tennis court was great. We had our MIL's dog with us its such a bonus they accommodate for your pets too! We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.

We booked the Waterlily Chalet for our honeymoon in May 2025 and stayed for two weeks. We could not recommend the Retreat highly enough. The house was beautifully set up with all the ameneties you could want, and the fixtures were modern, clean and well maintained. The spa bath overlooking the lagoon was used often and most afternoons were spent there enjoying the sunset and listening to the birds. The fireplace was also well used in the colder nights and warmed the whole house. We booked a massage during our stay and the masseuse was lovely, very skilled, professional and easygoing. Clare and Shaun were the perfect hosts, streamlining our booking and stay and made it clear to contact them if there was anything we needed while giving us plenty of privacy for our special holiday. We look forward to returning, potentially for our anniversary celebration!

This was our second stay at Clarendon. As expected, it was perfectly comfortable, quiet and relaxing. Everything we were looking for. We chose Clarendon as it is reasonably close to home, in a rural setting, dog friendly, had a wood fire and spa bath. It has a sunny deck, full kitchen to self cater and is perfect for a quiet winter getaway.
