Clarion Collection Hotel Principessa Isabella

This hotel is very very nice and the staff is too. If I come back, this is where I would want to be. Rooms are great, cold and big enough. Activities are close to walk. Food in the area has great options. Metro is close enough to walk and get a bus, high speed train or take the subway! Definitely would recommend!

Finding nice accommodation at a reasonable price in Rome isn’t easy but I was lucky to stumble upon Hotel Principessa Isabella. Lovely quiet location just outside the hustle and bustle but still an easy walk to all of the sights Rome has to offer. Helpful friendly service with clean well appointed rooms, I would happily return and absolutely recommend… while I did have included breakfast, I was up and out exploring far too early every morning to take advantage so I can’t speak on that.

The hotel is truly poorly maintained. I don’t think it’s acceptable to use the term “vintage” as an excuse for not renovating the property. The breakfast is very basic and not hygienic enough. There’s a strong unpleasant odor as soon as you enter the lounge. The rooms are quite old – our curtain was torn and the bathroom had no ventilation. There was no hair towel provided, and what was supposed to be a face towel felt more like a piece of cloth than an actual towel. It definitely does not deserve the price it charges. I would not choose this place again.
