Clarion Congress Hotel Bratislava

Loved this hotel with its modern look and great rooms. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is a 20 minutes walk from the Old Town so if you're into walking it's very doable. If not: take a tram or bus. For an individual traveller it is a safe haven to come back to after a day pf sightseeing. I also love its quietness: no kids running around and screaming. (Eastern European kids are better raised than western kids nowadays). There is a parking garage that costs €22 a day.

I had a wonderful stay. The staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with modern amenities. The hotel’s location was perfect, close to major attractions and public transportation. Breakfast options were delicious and varied. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting the area.

I always like to focus on the positives. The breakfast was the best I've ever had in a hotel. Really. The staff, all of them, including the bar and restaurant staff, and the reception staff, were all very kind and helpful. The only thing perhaps negative I'd say is that the shower in my room was mostly cold water, I don't know why. I also didn't like paying 22 Euro a day for parking, but there was nothing I could do about that. The room was very quiet, the aircon worked superbly during the boiling hot days outside, and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant food in the evening was also very nice, but half of the dishes on the menu when I stayed were not available. I don't know why. This was a pity. The fitness room on the sixth floor was also pretty good. I would stay here again no problem.
