Clarion Congress Hotel Olomouc

Very clean and quiet hotel right next to the train station (but never heard the trains). I also never heard neighbors perhaps because it’s an older hotel with very thick doors and walls. Breakfast was included and was good. Try the spinach egg crepes. Our room was fabulous! It was a suite (which we weren’t aware of when we booked so it was a fun surprise). Two doubles in one room, a living room and a large entryway with closets and places to put suitcases. The bathroom was very clean and everything looked new. The white couch had a couple stains but I just grabbed a blanket from the closet and covered them up. There is a fridge. The air conditioner was pretty comparable to the Marriott’s we’ve stayed at—-weak but adequate. All white bedding and comforters are always appreciated. I would recommend this hotel and very much enjoyed the quiet and extra space.

Beautiful structure, my room was wonderful, apart from stained chairs it was clean with modern furniture, comfortable bed and pillows, shower with tub, iron, fridge, there were even water and sweets in the room. It's one minute on foot from the train station, and in front of the tram/bus stops if you don't want to walk. Close by there is also the supermarket and some restaurants. Good varied breakfast. Staff at check in and check out was super kind, the only negative point for me was the lack of support with the AC: the young lady I talked to was polite but seemed quite annoyed and not very eager to help when I asked to switch it off. It was not for the noise or the temperature, it's the filtered air that causes sore throat, funny voice, running nose and perpetual sneezing (it lasted further 4 days after my stay) I ended up staying in the dark with open window, I didn't want to ask again and face again that annoyance. But again, she was polite at least. So the hotel is recommended, if I go back to Olomouc I'll go back there.

The hotel is nice, but it's very expensive for only bed and breakfast. There is no spa for free, there is no gym.
