Clarion Hotel Arlanda Airport Terminal

Excellent hotel. Really friendly and efficient check in (Alexandra). Located right by terminals 4 & 5, so no need for any shuttle. It was easy to get boarding pass and baggage labels the evening the flight. I had a spacious well presented room, quiet and light. The gym was well equipped and the sauna made for a relaxed time after a gym session. The pool looked good, but it’s not that big and was busy when I passed by. Breakfast buffet was superb - a reward for getting an early flight! Overall far better than an average airport hotel.

All these people who are giving it less than four stars must stay in some pretty swanky places normally because I thought this hotel was incredible! I picked it for its location and price. It’s right in between terminals four and five, which was perfect for us. And it’s walking distance to the Arlanda express train. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and we had housekeeping come both days. My one complaint of the room is the air conditioning. They do let you adjust the temperature by 2° but it didn’t really feel like it did anything. I brought my own fan so I never got too warm that it was uncomfortable. The pool is lovely. The workout room was lovely. They even have a kids room downstairs with a trampoline! I saw a sign that they show movies there as well, but we were never there in time for it. The absolute best part of this hotel is the breakfast! It was huge and varied and well kept. There’s an omelette station, traditional, American foods, and traditional Swedish breakfast foods. I was so thoroughly impressed that I might stay here next time I come and just take the train into Stockholm for sightseeing!

I’ll be blunt—this hotel’s only real saving grace is its location. Being right at the airport made catching our train and flight super convenient. But everything else? A letdown. The rooms were tiny, and housekeeping was basically nonexistent. We stayed in our first room for two nights—yeah, we had the Do Not Disturb sign up the first morning, fair enough. But the next day? We were out most of the day, came back late, and the room still hadn't been touched. No cleaning, no fresh towels, no trash taken out. At check-in, the room only had one towel set—had to request more right away. The air conditioning? Completely useless. The controls let you “adjust” it by 2 degrees, but in both rooms we stayed in, the unit never even kicked on. Just a glowing wall button pretending to do something. And the bed? God awful. No firmness at all—like sleeping on a half-deflated bounce house. The pillows were even worse—so soft my head sank straight through and hit the mattress. Might as well have used a folded T-shirt. The one saving grace besides the location? The breakfast. It was great—solid variety, well made, and definitely the best part of the whole stay. In short: awesome location, great breakfast… but everything else felt like an afterthought.
