Clarion Hotel Energy

Second time staying here for business. 40 min walk from the centre. Hotel was busy during this stay and was good value for the bed and breakfast. Rooms are large but are a bit boring. My bathroom had a good quality shower and Ritual toiletries. Breakfast has a good cold and hot buffet. The bar area wasn’t great, beer was poorly poured and was expensive even for Norway. Parking is close by and a 5 minute walk. Reception was good, helpful and friendly, however I paid for my parking up front. But they forgot to register my car, luckily I found this out whilst paying for some other parking. I would have faced a fine because of this. They refunded it, but would have been very costly.

Very modern hotel with restaurants, bars, and conference facilities. Rooms are very compact, with barely room to open suitcases. Bed and bedding was very nice. Loved that we could open a window a bit for fresh air. Can't say much about the restaurant, as our group got a pre-arranged meal that just didn't work for me. The free breakfast was above average.

Very clean room with good beds. Unfortunately no hairdryer in the bathroom. Breakfast buffet plentiful. Car park 5min walk from the ice rink. We paid about 15 euros per night.
