I stayed in room 812 from 20/7/2025 to 27/7/2025 for 1 week and everything about this hotel was special a big thank you to Olcan at the reception he is truly one of the best receptionists I’ve ever come across, and I travel a lot. His warm smile and professionalism made a big difference during my stay also the man who is in the spa the truth all of them has special thing thanks to you all There was a minor issue with the air conditioning it wasn’t very cold they kindly offered to change my room, but due to my schedule returning at 3 AM and leaving by 11 AM or 12 am every day for a week I didn’t have time to move. Still, I appreciated the offer. The hotel has private parking, outdoor and indoor which is a great bonus. Overall, it’s a really good hotel. Would I go back? Absolutely why not?
Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price I had a very frustrating experience at this hotel. I had booked a room that could accommodate 3 people, but unfortunately missed mentioning it in the reservation. Instead of being helpful, the hotel made us pay extra for 2 people, which felt unreasonable given the situation. Even more disappointing was the room itself. We booked a room with one double bed and one single bed, but were given a room with just two single beds—no explanation and no compensation for the inconvenience. The room was in poor condition with multiple maintenance issues: • Hair found on the bed upon arrival • Most of the electrical sockets were non-functional • The bathroom door wouldn’t close at all • Toilet flush kept running non-stop • Shampoo dispenser was completely empty On top of all that, the staff were not particularly friendly or helpful. Given the price we paid, there are far better hotel options in Istanbul with much better service and cleanliness. Definitely would not recommend this place.
Worse hotel experience in my life. Front desk Problems starts from beginning. Really slow and unknowable staff on front desk. It gets for them 30-40 min to answer basic questions (they checking with their supervisor on the phone in another room behind front desk many times). It looks like it was their first day there. Hotel Restaurant We randomly chose table, which was available. 15 minutes ignoring of new guests in restaurant (it was almost empty there, only 2 more table were busy). I went to the bar to talk about getting menu from one of the waitresses there. He said “Scan QR code for menu, no physical one”. Website was awful, you need to scroll each page like crazy they put only 2-3 dishes on each page (total over 40 pages lol). Prices overall same as other hotels, not cheap of course, specially for alcohol. When I ask for the bill, guy who was our waiter just told me the price out loud, instead of bring me a paper check. He brought me only after I ask, like it’s something unusual for him. We also take some food which we didn’t finished to go (thanks that fact they have plastic box). But the fun part of that plastic box magic happens after. Couple hours after I went from my room downstairs to the restaurant and asked they politely to wormer that food which I order from them. Guess what, it’s was impossible and the reason not because they didn’t have microwave, just cause supervisor thinks thats “Not hygienic”. Im like what?! They try to push me order new food from them. I even told front desk about the situation, but they of course have no power. I need to wormer that food for my wife, who was sick at that moment, but they weren’t care. Its never happened before in other 5 starts hotels which we stayed. Customer service is worse. Room Internet is slow, AC fair, TV not working, Problems with bathroom (sometimes was leaking under the sink), Problems with electricity (light turns off after we plugged iron(waiting time 30 min), which we borrowed from hotel itself. We called maintenance and wait them around 1 hour without lights and AC. There are nails sticking out of the floor that could cut your foot or damage your clothes if you step on them. The peeling wallpaper (most likely due to dampness or leaks) and the worn-out furniture in the main room make you realize that you are not in a real 5-star hotel. It was dripping in small drops from the ceiling ventilation in the bedroom hallway (which may have caused the wooden floor to swell). It seems that they don't even check the rooms for suitability or the proper functioning of all elements. We had a third person for the night and paid for extra bed around lunch time (of course it took 40 min to receptionist to do that and take our money). We went back around 23:45. Guess what third bed was not ready. We called to the front by phone and after 20 min some angry and pissed worker finally bring it. He was annoyed that fact that we didn’t “book bigger room” and let poor guy bring this foldable bed late at night like this is our fault that front desk people forgetting their responsibilities. The only nice was that asian guy who clean our room every morning. He was only professional and polite person. Spa/Pool They force you to buy swimming hat from them to allow use the pool(never see that rule in other hotels in Istanbul). Steam was not working(even after telling that to worker there he didn’t turn it on), only sauna was working. Jacuzzi from the google pictures is fake. Pool overall not bad, buy the way its cold (pool is under the ground with no windows and they didn’t do it with heater of course lol :D good luck). Pool 6.0 ft, so don’t jump if you wanna be alive. On top of that, be really careful when using that stairs to access the pool, both of them sharing and has broken stairs (it’s “5-star hotel” not 17th stars what do you expect hahah). Hot water for tea you need to take from cooler inside of the gym(yes go with wet body and try to not hurt yourself on that long way) Hope this review will be viewed by management and owner to improve performance of this place!
