Clarion Hotel Oslo

Clarion Hotel Oslo is conveniently located within walking distance of the central station and the opera house, with good bus and tram connections right outside the door that link to the whole city. The hotel is very modern and stylish, I would even say with a touch of luxury, although the bathroom didn’t quite fit the feel and reminded me a bit of a hospital. The views from the room were lovely, but the real highlight was the breakfast. Possibly one of the best and most varied breakfasts I’ve ever had in Northern Europe, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. The food at the restaurant was good as well, and so were the cocktails. During my stay, I had a minor health issue, and the staff were incredibly attentive and supportive, which made a big difference. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again whenever I visit Oslo.

Had a wonderful stay. Great location at the heart of Oslo near Central Station, public transport, and the Opera Center. Modern clean and spacious . Also the provided breakfast is delicious. Highly recommend.

Overall basic stay. The room was fine, however the walls are so thin you can hear everything going on. My sheets were a different material (very hard and itchy) compared to my partners but housekeeping came to give me a new pair. The bathroom shower set up is awful. Water spills everywhere and it is easy to slip if you're not careful. Why do hotels hate closed showers?! The Rituals products are nice but pump out the smallest amount ever, you have to pump it at least 30 times to get enough for yourself. The breakfast was amazing and huge! But during certain hours it was just way too chaotic, so many people! The location is fantastic close to the train station and Munch museum. Some pluses and minuses, not sure if I'd pick the same hotel next time.
