Great location, very clean, and a great breakfast. My only complaint was the one flat very soft pillow that was only offered on each bed. It’s was hard to sleep if you don’t like your pillows flat. For such a luxury hotel at least put two pillows on the bed. Maybe, I should have requested more pillows 🤷♀️. Overall it was a great stay, and what a special touch with sparkling wine to greet you in your room. I would stay here again, with more pillows 😜.
It was a hotel, which gives a comparatively good walkable access to the center of Prague^s old part:15 minute walking. The space of the room I stayed with my son was a bit tight as usually expected for budget group travelers with a tight schedule like mine, but it was acceptably spacious enough, especially considering the relatively large size of the bathroom. Also, I like the hygiene condition of the bathroom: I had a good bathing with steamy hot water contained in a bathtub, surface of which was managed quite nicely to relieve the stress out of a long walking detouring around the center of the old town. As for the service, I want to thank the whole staff of the breakfast buffet and Eva, the head manager. She offered quite detailed advice on how to enjoy a local fish side dish(a salty fish marinated with onion) with heavy wheat bread even under a very busy working condition. Thank you for the clean and healthy breakfast and especially the best on-time tip to help me explore the local food culture of Prague deeper in a limited amount of time.
Please note that Hotel will charge you more than price is in Euros is when you place your reservation. There is a disclaimer in the booking that Hotel has a right to use whatever exchange rate they want - and that is what they do. Also when making the reservation they will not give you the price in both Euros and local currency so it is impossible to tell is it only the poor exchange rate or do they also charge you more than when making the reservation. For example for us the price when booking in Euros was 417,00€ per room and they charged 455,00€ per room. This is why we will never ever step in to this hotel again. It is 2025 and transparency with currency should be already available.
