Our family thoroughly enjoyed a great stay at the Clayton Hotel. We have used this hotel on previous occasions- and every time found it to be superb! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and most of all - quiet. The staff are always helpful and pleasant. The shuttle bus to the airport terminal is great. We plan to sustain this tradition whenever we travel to Ireland.
Overall, the hotel was very clean, rooms spacious. We highly recommend the “early bird” dinner at the Italian restaurant for its value and quality. However, we did not know until it was too late that “the standard” rooms we reserved did not have air conditioning, or that the exercise room was closed. For a hotel that claims to be so upscale, and for the price we paid for the 2 rooms we had, this was not adequate.
It's right next to the airport and has a free 24hr shuttle service which was great. Only little thing is the shuttle isn't on a specific time table - just every 30min - so if you arrive right when it leave like we did then you are waiting for a bit but overall loved the service. Also had a nice Italian restaurant downstairs that wasn't too overpriced and had good food. A little pricey but the location is what you pay for.
