Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley

Stayed for 3 nights where the room was spacious and very clean. Restaurant food was excellent and breakfast choice amazing- something for everyone. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Melissa at breakfast was so attentive and looked after us. Great location to get out and about with lots to do. Many thanks.

Check in staff were lovely but we were not advised on how to get to floor 6. Took us forever to find out there was a separate lift as we didn’t see any signs. Family suite space was fantastic. The hall space was great for storing the pram. The main bed was lovely and comfortable but the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable and very disappointing. We slept awfully and it was not appreciated after a long days travelling. We paid almost £300 for one night the bed should be much better quality. Food in the bar was lovely and all the waiters were excellent. Breakfast was average. Wanted to discuss the bed at checkout so chose to do it at the till rather than online. Member of staff on the desk didn’t ask anything about our say just said “that’s it”. We will likely stay elsewhere next time as for £300 we should at least have decent beds.

No welcome on arrival or friendly face. On arrival loud music. Entry residents door bit weather beaten. Room clean. Room late night service excellent. A member of cleaning staff quite rude and also to another resident heard raised voices. Breakfast staff welcoming good choice. Swimming pool unclean. Young staff. Residents children not adhering to no diving rule..could result in accident. Changing rooms shampoo/washes empty. Food in bar stopped serving at 6 pm not very family friendly. Good overnight secure car parking. Poor options ..for eating timings in locality Burger King Starbucks close in dining at 8 and drive thru at 10pm. Poor value
