Clear Lake Cottages & Marina

We stayed in cabins 14 & 17. 17 had a full kitchen and fabulous view of Mount Konocti, I could have sat on that porch all day. 14 has a mini kitchen. Both rooms were clean, well stocked and everything worked. I love the contactless check in and they came around to make sure we had everything we need, like a hotel. The staff was super nice. The pool was clean and a perfect temperature. The whole grounds are beautiful, I love the shared lawn area. We forgot our bag with medications and the staff immediately mailed it to me. Great people, already booked for next year!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Clearlake and we stayed in #17 here. Very clean, roomy, and accommodating! Just wish the weather was a little warmer or it was less windy, lol! Thank you!

We rented cottage number 12, which was a lot closer to the road than we expected so there was a bit of traffic noise. The lake near the “resort” is not suited at all for swimming, nor are there any walking paths nearby. The pool is clean (but covered in may flies and tree fuzz) and has nice chair loungers. The bbqs worked and there are utensils there to use. The bbqs that had not been used were dirty and had some tree fuzz on them. It was late June and may fly season - which we could tolerate during the day. However, at night when we returned from dinner, the bright white porch light attracted the may flies as well as gnats so bad that we had to use the porch mat to try to get them to get away from the door frame. Try as we might, it didn’t help and we spent the next 30 minutes killing the bugs that got into our room. Because of the gnats, we could not open the windows for air, so we had to run the wall AC unit all night which was very loud and so we didn’t sleep well at all. However - the rooms are CUTE! Everything worked well. The bed was comfy, the sheets were soft and we joked about the horror movie outside the front door. Highly recommend visiting Stein and Wine for drinks and small plates.
