I would definitely come back to this place with my family. The rooms are small with queen beds and the bathroom is very narrow but it is renovated and trendy inside which is a great bonus. The pool outside is nice along with the bar and truck! The beach is private and gets cleaned so definitely worth going somewhere in the heart of Clearwater without the insane tourist crowds. The other guests had a classy vibe. A lot of families and seemed like locals driving in but generally nice crowd that’s not rowdy or obnoxious. There is a free trolley that you can take to get to the main Clearwater area for free which is a great addition. Food at restaurants was fresh, made fast and nice. The ambiance of the lower level and restaurants is a bit dated and gloomy. You can walk the to the beach to see the sunset highly without leaving the hotel Premises. The gym is amazing!!!! It’s renovated with a ton of equipment and space!!! Top notch!

This hotel is advertised as a 4-star property, but in reality, it feels more like a 2-star experience. From the moment we arrived, the service and quality fell far below expectations. When we checked in, the front desk staff was unfriendly and appeared to prioritize giving out the worst rooms first. We were given keys to a room we couldn’t even unlock. When we returned to the front desk, we were told to go back up and try again, and if it still didn’t work, to call maintenance. The key still didn’t work, so we called maintenance, who changed the battery in the lock. Once inside, we were hit with a loud noise from the AC unit. We asked the maintenance tech to take a look, and although he removed the filters, it made no difference. He suggested we request a different room, saying other rooms had quieter units. However, when we returned to the front desk, we were told all AC units were the same. After insisting, the supervisor got involved and sent the maintenance tech to check other rooms. Eventually, they found a room that was slightly less noisy, but still far from comfortable. We accepted it because we had no other choice, but the noise remained disruptive—especially at night. To make matters worse, we had booked a room for 5 people, but upon arrival were charged extra for a fifth bed. We were told the “room for 5” only includes two queen beds. This was extremely misleading and unprofessional. The only positive experience was at checkout, where the staff member was polite and kind—unlike the rest of the staff we encountered. Overall, this was not a 4-star experience by any standard. Poor customer service, misleading booking practices, and uncomfortable accommodations made our stay disappointing and stressful.

Disappointing and Overpriced – Not Worth It We booked this hotel expecting a relaxing beach getaway, but it turned into a frustrating experience. Despite the hotel advertising a private beach (which we assumed would be part of the stay), they charge $55 per day just to rent two beach chairs. You’re not allowed to move them or bring your own to the nicer spots, so you're basically paying twice just to sit on the beach you already paid to access. The beach itself? Totally underwhelming. It’s man-made, full of sharp shells and rocks—not exactly inviting. They also park jet skis right in the designated swimming area, making it feel cramped and unsafe. Service was a mixed bag. One staff member was helpful and kind, but most interactions ranged from indifferent to downright rude. There was no sense of hospitality or value for what they’re charging. Overall, this place feels like a cash grab with very little return. You can spend the same money elsewhere and actually enjoy your stay. Skip this one.
