Cleveland Hotel

What a lovely warm welcome we had at the Cleveland. Our room was very nice and very clean. It was a treat to have decent biscuits on the tea tray, water and homemade fudge on the bed . The only problem was hard pillows - probably just preference but I didn't sleep well. Breakfast was extremely good, I had to ask Matt how he cooked a perfect poached egg! Fab marmalade made by Lassanne, had to buy some. There is also a small bar in the sitting room Lovely house in a nice peaceful position and super people. Would go again.

A B&B with everything we needed and more. Exceptionally comfortable and clean with warm and professional hosts. All the touches and provisions were noticed and appreciated; from simple things like hooks on doors and mirrors in the right place, to fresh milk in the room if needed, super comfy bed, quality drinks tray, bedding and towels, complimentary water and homemade fudge. The breakfast was delicious and fantastic quality... so good! It was a relaxed stay - thank you to our hosts, Lisanne and Matt. Oh, mustn't forget there's free parking and if you book, book direct for a better deal rather than through sites like booking.com.

We stopped here back in 2021 when COVID restrictions were still knocking around. We've always wanted to come back, and we were so glad we did. Our stay was fantastic, Matt & Lissane are lovely. The breakfast is a great start to the days along with the lovely view from the breakfast room. We can't wait to come back !
