Cliff Hotel Rügen Resort & Spa

This Hotel is situated in a wonderful location right by the ocean and close to the city/village center of Sellin. The breakfast is good, it could have a slighty more options such as glutenfree or lactose free but it is manageable with the variety being served! The rooms, depending in which one you stay at, renovated or not. Some are older, meaning the furniture and the amenities in the bathroom could be updated. There I d say a difference should be made in the price, the price comparison between the rooms is not justified. We have stayed here two/three times over the years, mostly between Christmas and New Year and it is usually fairly booked. The wellness/pool is nice and clean, great to relax or go for a swim, actually the pool is pretty huge for a hotel pool. The staff is ok, they are not unfriendly but they are also not super authentic or passionate. Due to its location, the quality of breakfast, cleanness and service we can recommend this hotel. The hotel of course can do better in some areas, but cant we all :)

Hotel facilities and service good, food quality in both restaurants not on par with price levels.

We got a room pretty last minute (3 weeks prior). Our room was spacious but the furniture and interior design appeared out dated, even a little like different pieces were thrown together and did not really match. There were nails in the wall that supposed to have a picture hung up on. You had to ask for room service. The breakfast was buffet style - during corona times not the best option for safety and health but probably a lot cheaper. All in all definitely a nice hotel that has seen much better days.
