Cliff House Hotel

Had a gorgeous three night stay in the cliff house. Couldn't fault the room, obviously the view was stunning and we had a balcony to sit out on. We had dinner to in the bar restaurant the first night, ordering crab claws, oysters, cod and lobster. All amazing but you definitely pay for it which we didn't mind as it was a special occasion. On the third night we went to the Michelin star restaurant. Some dishes better than others, service was brilliant, good to try once but wouldn't go back. Service for drinks on the terrace very slow but with the stunning view we didn't mind too much. Lunch menu very disappointing, not a whole lot of choice, not even a simple salad on it. I ordered the burrata and was just OK with a sickly sweet dressing on it. Lots to do, we didn't go in the car at all with the beach, cliff walk and spa right there. The best part I think was the rock pool you could access through the spa at high tide. Will definitely be back but will eat more in the village.

I had a gorgeous morning at the spa in the cliff last weekend with my best friend. The staff at the spa were so friendly, warm and welcoming. It was my first time using the outside baths, the overall experience was just amazing. Will most definitely be back. Thanks to the girls for taking such good care of us 😊

Location amazing, staff so friendly. Bar menu a total disappointment. Very limited choice. Friends chowder was nice. My toasted sandwich was sitting on over dressed salad leaves and soggy. Ham in it was very thin. Chips almost cooked. I'd go back for the coffee but I'd skip lunch
