Cloister at The Boca Raton

What a beautiful historic property! Gotta say my first time in Boca has set the bar super high. The Cloister is part of the Boca Club right on the water with a vast waterfront and boat that takes you back and forth to the other side. The historic nature of the Cloister is very charming. Holiday decorations only made it more attractive. Rooms, tho slightly dated and some are small, they are clean and maintained. All amenities are included- yes the nuts, the drinks, the waters, so enjoy yourself. The athletic club has so much including courts for tennis and pickleball. But definitely reserve your spot so you can play - we showed up without appointment and the wait was too long. But who cares when the adult pool is calling your name! There are two pools including a lazy river. One pool is for families with children and the other one is for adults. We spent time on both and can say the adult pool while adjacent is quite tranquil and peaceful. Great poolside service that keeps drinks and food coming. We were told all gratuity was already included so we never had to tip anywhere within the property. Which is a great thing to save guests from having to think about all that. There are multiple restaurants and bars - all fantastic- we didn’t have to leave the resort. Again this helped us maximize our time and relaxation. The Moet bar by the yacht club was so fun; perfectly coupled with wood fired pizza done right there in open air. So many great details and things to account for it’s hard to list them all. Overall very family friendly, luxurious, and very well thought out. We enjoyed it and can’t wait to revisit again!

Disappointed Return Stay – Not the Cloisters Experience We Expected This is our second time staying at The Cloisters at Boca Raton. Last year, we stayed at the Towers and had a wonderful experience—easily a 9+ out of 10. Based on that, we decided to return this year and booked at the main hotel, expecting the same high standard. Unfortunately, this stay has been a major disappointment—I’d rate it no higher than a 6. While we don’t spend a lot of time in the room, we expect excellent service when paying a premium. Sadly, that wasn’t the case. The most concerning issue was with housekeeping: they went through our personal belongings, touching and moving items, including placing my wife’s underwear and pajamas in a laundry bag without any request or reason. That crossed a line and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Additionally, service across the board was slow and inattentive. We waited over 25 minutes for a bellman. The same delay happened when we requested our car. These may seem like small issues, but they add up—especially at a property that markets itself as luxury. We were so disappointed that we chose to leave early, even though we’re still paying for the full day—and actually paying more than the original stay. We come to this area once a year, but after this experience, we’re seriously reconsidering staying at The Cloisters again.

Worst experience in high end resort (not) ,, not a view , a/c broke fixing it over 5 hours ,, not a call to apologies, I talk manager never received a call to change room,, I was there to cover a 3 day event with over 600 people attending,, worse experience when checking tell me two Queen beds(not) room with twin beds slept horrible.
