Cloud 9 Boutique Hotel and Spa

A very good and pleasant hotel. Very friendly staff and beautiful rooms. It's a lovely local place in the city and has a beautiful view of Table Mountain. The best part was the food in the restaurant. It was truly fantastic!

We had an amazing stay here. It is a beautiful hotel with such friendly staff. We stayed over on our wedding night, we booked for the ‘Couples Winter Getaway’ and the staff made it very special. We had a special setup in the room with a good bottle of wine, tasty treats a beautiful hand written note. Small details, that will make us return. The hotel is in a good part of the city as well, which makes it great for exploring and plenty of amazing restaurants, all within walking distance. We also had great food and drinks at the hotel restaurant. We just loved the fact that we always felt so welcome. Included in our getaway was a couples massage at the spa on the premises. Sadly here we did not have a good experience. The massage felt like an afterthought. Being a therapist myself, it felt like it was the first time these girls were massaging or just starting out. It felt rushed as well, like they just wanted to finish the treatment. Unfortunately for us, the best part of our massage was when it was over. We will most definitely return to the hotel, but not to the spa.

This boutique hotel on Kloof Street is a true gem. I stayed here specifically for the on-site spa, and it did not disappoint I got my nails done, a facial, and one of the best massages I’ve had in a while. It was the perfect little self-care getaway in the city. The location is amazing. It’s close to everything, and there’s even a restaurant right across the street that hosted a comedy night during my stay such a fun surprise! The hotel’s rooftop restaurant also serves great food and has a nice atmosphere, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine. My room had a balcony, which added a lovely touch and gave me a nice view of the area. The staff was warm, helpful, and always made me feel welcome. The only small downside was an occasional smell coming from the shower/toilet area, but once I mentioned it, they quickly handled it with no problem. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. If you’re looking for a stylish, peaceful boutique hotel with spa amenities and great access to the local scene, I’d definitely recommend this place. I’ll absolutely be coming back next time I’m in Cape Town.
