Firstly, I'd like to thank Samantha for making this one of the best vacations ever! Samantha went above and beyond to assist us with making all our reservations (even very last minute ones). My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights x 4 days while on our honeymoon. This was truly an unforgettable estate. It was beautiful, quiet, and scenic as it was situated in the "Beverly Hills" of Stellenbosch adjacent to Delaire Graff. We stayed in Villa 12, which was such a cool layout, massive bed and beautiful views. The rooms were furnished with coffees, teas, snacks, fruits, and even a complimentary bottle of their 2020 red blend which was delightful! The turn down service even left us a nice surprise made of our rose pedals! So thoughtful and caring. We absolutely loved our stay here, and with it being so close to everything we were able to visit many famous vineyards in the area like Delaire Graff, Tokara, and Babylonstoren.

It's a little estate, with some vineyards, a restaurant, a little hotel and some "villa's". It has amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Our villa was really well equipped, specious, light, cleam and comfortable. On our terras we had an amazing view. The staff were also friendly and readily available to help us with booking a restaurants or other tips. They also picked us up after dinner in an other place at the gate. We had a good breakfast: buffet and you could order several eggdishes: very tastefull! Dinner was nice as well.

Let me start by saying that the property is fantastic. The location is lovely with amazing views of the surrounding mountains, and our room was really well equipped and comfortable. We loved using the pool and had a really comfortable night’s sleep. The staff were also friendly and readily available and we had a tasty breakfast. Unfortunately though, we did not have a smooth experience. The keys to the room are custom RFID keys and ours did not work the entire stay. This meant that every time we wanted to open or lock our door we had to go to reception for help, which was frustrating given that our room was down the hill separate to the main building. This meant about ~4 trips up the hill every time we left or had to reenter the room. The real issue was that for the duration of our one night stay we did not have hot water in our room. There were maintenance staff on the ground fixing a burnt element in the geyser the morning we checked out, but the only offered resolution was for us to use another room in the main hotel which again was in a separate building to our room. We identified that the water wasn’t getting hot within less than an hour of checking in and had hoped that we could at the very least have been offered to move to another room with working hot water, but this wasn’t the case. In any other instance this might have been understandable but after paying roughly R9400 for a one night stay we would have expected a hot shower as the minimum. Overall not a bad stay, but enough inconveniences that it probably won’t be worth returning.
