We've just returned from a fantastic stay at Stork Family Camping Village. We stayed in a deluxe lodge in the early season so it was perfect for our requirements. Lovely accommodation, especially the terrace. Beach is extremely close and very nice and quiet this time of year. Pool and slides and entertainment great for kids. Restaurant was very nice. Staff are all brilliant and very welcoming. Next time we would like to hire bikes. Only advice is choose the accommodation and time of year to suit your requirements - enjoy!
We (tried to) camp here for a week, came especially because they allow dogs. Tiny dirt pitches, way too crowded, grumpy personnel, hundreds of rules also for the ‘dog’ beach, which meant that we escaped it and went to a different one with ours, and the worst was the noise early in the morning such as people packing up their campers at 6.00, loud gardening with leaf blowers at 6.30, extremely loud live music at 5.30 on Sunday, which the security said they could do nothing about as it comes from a local barn that squatters keep occupying. Never again. This is not camping this is a 24/7 circus.
This was our first experience with Club del Sole. And our last. On the positive side: the location by the sea, the infrastructure, and the service in the bar and restaurant. On the negative side: 1. When we checked in, we did not find a single towel in the linen set provided. I went to the reception, where I was told that towels were not provided and could be purchased for €9 each. For a 4-star village with a rental price of €320 per day for half board, this is simply nonsense. Penny-pinching. 2. The cottage was in a worn-out condition in the fall: the furniture in the bedrooms was scratched, and the water switch in the shower was broken. 3. Don't believe the beautiful pictures on their website. The rooms are tiny in reality, and there are no cushions on the plastic furniture on the terrace. Although everything is photographed with them on the website. 4. The internet is weak, 5G too. 5. Breakfasts are monotonous. 6. On the second day, they sent a questionnaire by email. We filled it out and sent it back with all our complaints. We received no response. It seems that no one reads them. They are sent by a robot. For much less money, you could have found a more spacious, well-kept, and secluded place on the same coast. I do not recommend this place. It is simply overrated.
