Club Esse Palmasera Resort

I had the most amazing time at this resort! The atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing – exactly what I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had the most stunning view. I especially loved the food – every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable getaway

The experience was so “amazing” that I didn’t even feel the need to take any photos (yes, that’s irony). The room was definitely not as good as in the photos — but hey, it did the job. I got a few insect bites during my stay, but nothing too dramatic. Breakfast was… let’s call it “minimalist”: no variety, questionable hygiene, and chaos all around. At one point, I asked for a table to be cleaned, and instead of actually cleaning it, they wanted to throw a paper towel on top of it — needless to say, I skipped that meal. On arrival, I discovered there was no bar or restaurant for a light meal; the options were limited to fries or ice cream by the pool. Parking: At check-in, I was offered covered or uncovered paid parking, but there were no covered spots left. I chose uncovered… only to find that every day there were no spaces available. The “solution”? Parking in improvised spots arranged by the staff. All in all, an unforgettable stay.

Great location, but far from a real 4-star experience The hotel is perfectly located near some of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia, with easy boat rental access, spacious green grounds with shade, and daily towel changes. However, it falls well below 4-star standards: outdated and faulty bathroom facilities (our toilet was fixed only after ~6 days and 3 attempts, without any apology), poor reception service (with a baby we were placed in the most remote area of the resort, inconvenient for stroller access), and not child-friendly at all (barriers, many stairs to the beach not mentioned in advance). Breakfast is very limited (same 3-4 items for 10 days, different areas for different guest categories not disclosed at booking), coffee is disappointing for Italy, and parking is overcrowded despite being paid. Sunbeds on the beach are charged extra, even though advertised as included on a “first come, first served” basis.
