Club Maeva Miramar Tampico

The hotel is well located. It is not on the beach but it has a bridge which takes you to the pool and the beach. The hotel is very old. The hallways are dark and the AC is noisy. There are marks of mold. The environment does not help, it is hot and humid. There are coaties even in the lobby, becareful, they look friendly but you never know how they are going to react

This is 2 star or less Hotel, , rooms are outdated walls are falling a part leaks with mold, room doors aren’t secured enough. no ac in the lobby or hallways, dirty overall, food and drinks are mediocre. The only good thing this hotel has is the people who works in there not because they work there is because who they are just warm people and probably under paid. I will not use them again.

I am very disappointed... First they cancelled our reservation while on the road to the CD Maderas and the customer service as we called to figure out what was going on was very unprofessional. Then as we got there the installations appeared very poorly maintained. The reception was attended by two teenagers in civilian clothes and if it weren't for the unprofessional name tags - I would have not known that they are working there. After one and a half hours of negotiations we left... ITS JUST NOT WORTH IT... The little house (because of our dogs) all the way behind the hotel with new years eve banquet (only one night) for two persons for 450$ USD !!! and they charge 50$ USD the night for two dogs. I would accept the prices if the service and installations would be extraordinary and the supposed Pet-Friendly treatment a lot different. I don't think I can recommend this "Club/Hotel" nor will I be guest there.
