Club Mahindra Arookutty Alleppey

Our stay at the resort was excellent! The staff were incredibly well-behaved and accommodating throughout our visit. Traveling with an infant can be challenging, but they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, which we deeply appreciated.

Club Mahindra Arookutty in Alappuzha (Alleppey), Kerala, provides a peaceful getaway nestled in the serene backwaters of Vembanad Lake. We had lunch here and opted for the Sadhya. While the price was on the higher side, the food was decent. They offer a different menu each day. We had booked two rooms—one was in a cottage, and the other in the main building. If you're travelling as a group, it's best to request rooms in the same building for convenience. Since the resort is usually fully booked, switching rooms upon arrival is nearly impossible. The property offers plenty of fun activities. The children's park and pool are well-maintained—though the pool is small, we still had a great time. Kayaking in the backwaters was a memorable experience. Their customer service needs improvement, especially in terms of responsiveness. We had to ask for water twice but never received it through room service. The same happened with the laundry stand—we eventually found unused ones at the neighbouring cottage. We had to take the stairs to reach the upper floor and noticed they weren't properly cleaned. Hopefully, the property will maintain better cleanliness standards moving forward.

Rooms are well-maintained and the service is good. The buffet offers tasty food, though it is on the expensive side. However, in-room dining is overpriced and the food quality is poor. The location and ambience are excellent.
