This resort is one of the well managed resorts of Club Mahindra. Well approachable and is just off the Mahabaleshwar- Panchgani road. Rooms are neat clean and spacious. Food is excellent with variety of cuisines available. They have well stocked bar and barbecue restaurant.
This was my first bad experience in Club Mahindra. Here are the reasons: 1. The room was small although we requested for a bigger room or 2 rooms. The resort could not do so. 2. The bathroom was small and stinky. There was barely enough space to shower and the smell was hideous 3. The AC was not starting until and unless we called someone 4. The rooms were super out dated and really old or antique 5. The view from the window was terrible. If you expected a beautiful scenery or something like that you are wrong. What was good you may ask now? Well 2 things 1. The outside of the room . 2. The food was scrumptious and super delicious Overall, as a traveler this is not expected from such a renowned hotel or resort brand like club Mahindra. My advice ? Kindly renovate all the rooms. My final rating 2 stars only for the food and the outer resort. Thank you
Spacious rooms aside, this resort is a complete letdown. Not senior-friendly at all – you’ll be climbing stairs for everything, even meals. The food is a disaster. Overly spicy, poorly made, and clearly tailored for a very specific Maharashtrian palate – which, frankly, isn’t known for culinary brilliance. A couple of us had upset stomachs and we had to cancel dinner plans. Even the basic bread was bad, and the barbecue was worse. Service is sluggish, maybe because they’re understaffed – but that doesn’t justify the wait times. Add to that wet, slippery floors during the rains with barely any cleanup – it felt unsafe, especially for kids and seniors. Unless you enjoy terrible food, slow service, and dangerous wet walkways, do yourself a favour and avoid this place. Stay somewhere that respects both your comfort and your stomach.
