The location and ambience of the resort are really good, offering a pleasant environment to relax. However, the rooms felt quite congested and lacked basic amenities like an oven and utensils. I was especially disappointed with the cleanliness—the linens provided were not clean and even had black fungus on them, which was very unhygienic. Definitely needs improvement in housekeeping and room facilities.
This resort is severely lacking in hospitality, training, and guest experience standards. I’ve stayed at other Club Mahindra properties and had wonderful stays but Thekkady was shocking in comparison. Avoid this property at any cost if you value good service, comfort, or basic respect as a guest.
The food we paid for is not up to the quality. The staffs who are serving in the dining is very rude and if we ask anything they simply reply that this is buffet dinner we don't help. When I warned The in charge named Bibin Vargeese he replied that I don't care. Is this the way if treating your Club members. We are very much disappointed.
