Club Med Sanya

Our Club Med vacation exceeded our expectations. The resort was recommended by friends, who gave it glowing reviews, but we never imagined it would live up to their effusive praise. But, wow! It absolutely did. The facilities were pristine- the pools, the beach, the buffet- everything looked like a postcard of a tropical vacation. There was an activity for everyone in our family- aqua aerobics for me (led by the amazing Peggy and Ann), a badminton tournament for my husband, and the Mini-Club for my kids, along with additional family activities, like seashell crafts, a kids' evening show, and tie-dye shirt making. The staff were also incredible. The Mini-Club leaders were kind, patient and energetic. The bartenders were helpful, attentive, and made fantastic drinks. The buffet staff consistently made delicious food and were totally understanding when our kids spilled things or we needed another fork because we'd dropped one on the ground (again!). The managers were warm, welcoming and seemed so genuinely concerned that everyone have the vacation of their dreams. Every member of the Club Med staff were beyond helpful! We spent six truly relaxing days at Club Med Sanya and we will definitely go back.

I really enjoyed myself at the resort. We enjoyed the BBQ night and buffet offered. The rooms were very well kept and comfortable. We had a small issue with the TV remote and the staff acted promptly to rectify the issue. The outdoor area was well maintained and very relaxing to be by the pool.

We had a great time here. Facilities were good, rooms were comfortable, employees were great and the food was fantastic. There was more to do than we had time but the kids tried to squeeze in everything they could and they really enjoyed the mini club activities. One of the lifeguards warned me about the bugs (mosquitos, sand fleas) and I ignored him to my regret - big bug bites, should have worn socks and bug spray.
