Club Quarters Hotel London City

After a poor experience at a different hotel nearby, I switched to Club Quarters Hotel - London City, and couldn't be more grateful that I did. Gabi was absolutely exceptional; she is a masterclass in all that great hospitality should be. Gabi went out of her way to ensure my stay was totally comfortable and that I had everything I needed. The hotel was recently refurbished, and the rooms are modern and clean. Location is excellent - close to different tube stations and across the street from the beautiful Leadenhall Market.

Was in London to celebrate my partners birthday. The hotel is a convenient bus ride away from the lovely food market where we went for dinner and the bar we visited later in Covent Garden. We were warmly greeted by the staff upon check-in and found our room with no trouble. The bathroom lighting was perfect for touching up my makeup before we headed out. Lovely view of the city from the fifth floor window. The bed was also very comfy which made leaving for checkout the following day challenging… Would recommend!

Great hotel and location however , beware , they have a deposit hold policy of £50 on arrival to cover expenses. Do not trust it to be refunded to you within 3 working days as I was promised , moreover they have held a much higher amount for things that were payed with other cards , retaining the amount in my account for more than 10 days and counting. Management not responding to any emails either. Also items like hair dryer were missing from the room and coffee wasn’t replenished. Still awaiting for my £109.5 to be released.
