Club Regina Los Cabos

Rooms are clean and offer great views (we had ocean view) but amenities are dated. Pool and cleaning staff are very nice and attentive. Bellhop and staff handiling transportation inside hotel are “iffy” to say the least and staff at lobby care misto y about giving you their presentation and signing a contact to their “vacation club). Over all we enjoyed but the little things like friendly and not push y staff and complimentary water would go far. Sadly once you say “no” yo joining their vacation club it does not seem like they really care about you coming back.

As someone who gets asked to review destinations with honesty, heart, and a dash of humor, here’s the real-deal rundown of our recent stay: The location? Solid. The views? Absolutely stunning. We had front-row seats to a whale show right from our balcony every morning, with coffee in hand. The service was world-class. Every team member we encountered brought their A-game—friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay special. Hospitality like that is hard to come by, and they nailed it. Now, let’s talk rooms. Here’s where the resort shows its age. Our toilet had a flair for the dramatic, letting out a noise somewhere between a foghorn and a whale’s mating call every time we flushed. Comedic? Yes. Convenient? Not exactly. Thankfully, other bathrooms were available and quieter. The mattress left much to be desired, too—more like a hammock with commitment issues than a place to get restful sleep. But here’s the deal: the pool scene was a dream. Laid-back, clean, and refreshingly calm compared to the party-animal resorts nearby. We came to unplug, and the vibe here delivered precisely that. Would I recommend it? Yes—with eyes wide open. This place delivers if you’re chasing ocean views, peace, and excellent service. Just know the rooms could use a little love. And maybe pack a mattress topper… and a sense of humor.

We loved the location and service was top notch. The pool and beach areas were great. We tried to stay outside as much as possible. The rooms are very run down. The fixtures are old and the mattress was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever had in a vacation rental. We considered purchasing an air mattress to use for the week, and I wish we had. Please, please replace the mattresses with something more comfortable than the floor and invest in new bedding and towels.
