Club Viva Hotel

we came back from our 7 day stay at this hotel. Me and my 3 kids 12 16 and 17 had room 306. It had 4 single beds, nice and clean. 2 ACs for our rooms with a remote, nice in this heat. Kettle, mugs, tea and mini fridge aswell. Should add clocks, it's an easy fix. Bins and toilet roll get emptied and refilled every 2-3 days. We asked reception for more toilet roll who kindly gave us some. Echo in hotel, can hear voices outside through rooms but honestly not a big deal as we go out in the day anyway. Hotel staff kind and friendly, we arrived at 3am and they outlined breakfast timings and showed us our room. If booked with tui, they send someone to sell you overpriced excursions on the first day right after breakfast. DO NOT BOOK THEM!!! far too expensive, do not make the same mistake we did. we were sold a lie of booking online being unreliable and their high prices being a guarantee. Absolute lie, just say no. Book boat trips directly with boats on marina (£60 for all 4 of us, man at hotel tried selling for £30pp) and other trips online. Boat trip was lovely (Neptune Star), got captains number incase anything happened and transfer was on time. We booked waterpark excursion with man at hotel, he wouldnt pick up the phone even when reception started calling, so inconvenient as we waited 45mins for our transfer to come. Only came because another man selling excursions from the same company heard our frustration and made a phone call. Also the massage seller understands a no. Pool was great 1.5m and few floaties to use. Mosque goes off at night and in day which is loud but we got used to it. Definitely can be heard in most rooms. not a big deal, just the night one may wake up small children. WiFi isnt too good in the rooms better in the lobby I think. A bit slow but will do the job. Overall would come again marmaris is amazing.

Cleaner has stolen fags and hardly even tidy the rooms one day she only changed the bin and left the beds and no towels my mum went and asked for towels and the cleaner came to the door about shouting and didn’t even give me the towels until she came in chucked them on the bed and went through to the bathroom bedding is always dirty however the bar staff are a good laugh The shop downstairs is overpriced and u have to pay to use a tv, and for 1 extra key card what do they expect if u come in a family of 4. Hotel is hotter inside than outside My opinion the cleaners need to get the sack I noticed one time that the chairs on the balcony were put differently so they have obviously have been sitting about they come at the most silly times one time it was about 5pm I said don’t bother coming if u gonna be at this time They stole over 12 fags I wonder what else they steal I told the reception 4 times and the last time was the manager and he didn’t even know so they lie to make things “better” for them 4 star hotel more like 2 star!

Horrible experience at this hotel. Staff are not friendly and are rude except for the manager who was helpful and one staff at the breakfast buffet. The rooms were tiny, not very clean and did not offer tissue or water. Bed covers were ripped and had holes. Breakfast was very limited and not good, i only had toast and butter and the next days didn’t bother eating. Also it’s only from 8 to 10 which is barely anytime. All cereals were stale and old but the jam collection was good. Would not recommend this hotel.
