What a wonderful experience! The room was big, welcoming and quiet with a beautiful view of the Wolkberg mountains! The staff was efficient and friendly, and the meals were delicious! The chef is dedicated and proficient. We had a lovely stay!
Reviewing the restaurant: Very classy venue. Food is ok, could be a touch better quality. Staff very friendly and caring. One silly thing that lets the restaurant down: Plastic takeout-style menu (in a venue with a dress code). This is really strange.
Worst Christmas lunch ever. For R500 pp, one would expect something special. The food was mediocre. It was overbooked and over crowded. One had to scrum your way through to the buffet table. There were not even enough plates for everyone. The wine was warm. Some of the food advertised on the menu was not available. Not enough waiters on the day.
