Coast Capri Hotel

Conveniently located close to downtown, the Coast Capri Hotel offers a comfortable stay. We’ve stayed here many years ago, and not much has changed since. During our midweek visit in early August, the hotel was fairly quiet. Check-in was quick, and the front desk staff were friendly. I was pleased to have a pool-facing room. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The only drawbacks were the low water pressure in the toilet, which required holding the handle to flush and very loud after, and the delay in getting hot water at the sink and shower. The bathroom was spacious but could benefit from an update. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would happily return on our next visit.

Wow—what an exceptional hotel! I’d honestly stay here just for the towels—they’re oversized, plush, and can wrap around you twice! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the entire property is spotless and well-maintained. Conveniently located in a plaza with several restaurants and a grocery store, it’s also just a 20-minute walk to the waterfront and downtown area. A perfect mix of comfort and location!.

Exceptional Service and Thoughtful Attention to Detail by staff member Craig Olson. I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for three days, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The accommodations were comfortable, and the atmosphere was welcoming. However, what truly stood out was the level of customer service I received. During a group dinner of over 100, I noticed there weren’t any vegan options on the table. While I was content with just some bread and vegetables, one of the staff members, Craig Olson, noticed my situation and approached me personally. He went above and beyond to ensure I had a delicious and specially prepared vegetarian meal. This thoughtful gesture was not only incredibly kind but also rare to see in such detail-oriented service. It’s clear that Greg truly cares about guest satisfaction, and it’s employees like him that make this hotel stand out. I want to personally thank Craig Olson for making my dining experience so much better with his attentiveness and care. The hotel should be proud to have such a dedicated team member. Highly recommend this place for both the quality of service and the attention to guest needs!
