Coast Lonsdale Quay Hotel

Hotel restaurant was out of commission and The weak attempt at a continental breakfast in an obscure room was kind of embarrassing. Room was very nice though. Clean and modern. The partial ocean view was also quite nice. Overall, at $400+ per night, The only thing this hotel has going for it is location. I highly doubt I would stay here again.

Stayed August 2025, hotel in need of remodel. General condition of rooms, hallways, etc., is tired, worn and dated. Great location, although tough to find the lobby on first visit as it is poorly marked. We needed ask direction from a vendor in the market to find the hotel elevator. On our next visit, will likely try one of the other hotels located very close by.

Where Your incidentals deposit Checks In But Never Checks Out! I rarely write reviews this negative, but after over a month of waiting for my $300 incidental deposit to be returned with no resolution, I felt the need to speak out. Our stay at Lonsdale Quay Hotel isn’t the issue, yet it wasn’t spectacular in any way. Real disappointment came after we checked out. Like others, we were assured the deposit would be returned promptly. Yet here we are over a month later, still out $300 and getting nothing but empty promises and radio silence. Hello Ruben? You promised to call us back. And we’re not alone. A quick glance through other online reviews shows multiple guests reporting the exact same issue. Delayed returns. No communication. Excuses. It’s starting to look less like disorganization and more like an intentional pattern. If you’re thinking about staying here, ask yourself how comfortable you are with your money being held hostage. A “stunning waterfront view”doesn’t make up for incompetence—or a lack of integrity. Steer clear. P.S. I’ve added two other reviews from other dissatisfied customers with the same story.
