This was our first time to Seattle and our stay here was EXCEPTIONAL! Room was well kept and the toilet even had a bidet. Customer/room service were accommodating, friendly, and prompt. We appreciated the ice cold lemon water readily available in the lobby every day. Uber pick up and hotel location were very convenient. Only a 10-15 minute walk to pikes place farmers market. Convenience store just steps away from the hotel. Stunning view from our room on the 23rd floor (2302). I highly recommend this hotel for your stay.

Our 3 night stay in early July was very nice. We booked a city-view room with lounge access at the 3-night rate advertised for members. It's definitely worth signing ups for the free membership on the Coast hotel website. The room was very clean and thankfully all the blinds worked perfectly thoughout our stay. Room key card must be scanned in elevator for access to the right floor and added a comforting level of security. The lounge access included daily breakfast with muffins, pastries, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, oatmeal, coffee and juice which was available promptly at 7am. In room coffee maker was also provided which we appreciated being early risers and not adjusted to the time zone. The evening 5pm to 7pm lounge Happy Hour provided $5 beer and wine drinks and an array of complementary appetizers such as hot egg rolls, nuts, cheese, crackers, and fruit. The lounge also had a fridge stocked with complimentary non-alcoholic beverages such as waters and sodas available, which are available during lounge hours, so we could to take some back to the room. We were greeted and checked in early as our room was available before noon on the day we arrived after our cruise which we greatly appreciated. Our friends had booked a standard room and their room was not available early. The hotel does check luggage for travelers when their room is not ready or while visiting the city a few hours after check out time. The room included a safe, iron, robes, slippers, and several usb ports. Bathroom had nice shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel as well as makeup mirror and hair dryer. The location is on a corner with a parking garage (payment required) underneath the hotel so the lobby is only available by taking the elevator. Curbside pick up area was clearly marked. A friendly hotel doorman was usually nearby to assist travelers loading or unloading luggage. The area surrounding the hotel appeared clean and safe for pedestrians and traffic. We had two Coast Hotel gift cards and were dismayed these were not immediately applied to the room charges on checkout. It took 5 days before the amount of the gift cards were applied to the credit card used for the room charges. Upon calling the manager to discuss the delay, she stated the gift card process is new to this location and they are still working out the process. Overall a terrific place to stay in Seattle!

Parking was a joke—expensive and way more than I’ve paid anywhere else as an overnight guest. Strike one. The shower barely functioned: weak water pressure and constantly shifting temperatures made it feel more like a guessing game than a rinse. Strike two. The A/C? Sounded like a lawn mower trying to hum a lullaby. We ended up turning it off just to get some sleep. The window blinds clearly used to have a remote… which is now missing. Had to manually pull them down, but good luck getting them back up without a prayer and a pulley system. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the bed wasn’t bad. Oh—and the high-tech Japanese toilet seat added a little flair, though it felt a bit like lipstick on a pig. Bottom line: solid service, but everything else needs serious work.
