Coco Hotel

We had the family room here, and it was perfect. There's a main bedroom, a little sitting area, and a room for the kids with two twin beds. The linens and pillows were really comfy. The kids room also had a PS4 and several games, some toys, and books. My kids loved it! The A/C was great in July. There was also a room to play ping pong on the 5th floor. The staff at the hotel was really nice. Free coffee in the morning too.

My family and I stayed at the hotel at the beginning of May. It is a beautiful boutique hotel and it is located very central. The rooms we had were amazing with a view of the courtyard. The staff were all so lovely and helpful. A special shoutout to Fatima! She was super welcoming to us and incredibly accommodating which made our trip that much more special. She is a great asset to the hotel!! Thank you!!

This is the famous Coco Hotel in Copenhagen — and I seriously regret ever booking this place. I stayed for 3 nights and got woken up every single morning by construction noise — once as early as 5:00 AM, another day at 6:50 AM. There’s a full-on construction site in the hotel garden — and nowhere on Booking.com or their own website is this mentioned. That’s straight-up misleading. When I brought this up with the staff, they offered to refund half of what I paid (mind you I communicated the very first morning) — but that wouldn’t even cover a new hotel in Copenhagen. So I had no choice but to stay. They apologized at some point, sure — but also tried to act like I was exaggerating. This hotel lacks hospitality and decency. The construction workers themselves said they start at 6:00 AM, while the staff insists it’s later. I guess I imagined the noise that woke me up? Some of the staff behaved very poorly. Bottom line: You’re paying premium prices to be sleep-deprived, gaslit, and misled. Avoid Coco Hotel unless you enjoy being scammed in your sleep. I have videos as proof.
