Coco La Palm Seaside Resort

We absolutely loved our stay at Coco La Palm! The customer service was top notch — you can tell the staff are well-trained and held to a high standard, and it truly shows. The location is perfect, right on Seven Mile Beach — you can’t beat the views and the easy beach access. The meals were excellent, cooked to order and full of flavor. We found ourselves constantly comparing our experience at Coco La Palm to the other hotel we stayed at — saying things like, “If we were at Coco La Palm…” daily! That says a lot. We can’t wait to return!

I was genuinely impressed by this property! While it’s not all-inclusive, the stunning views more than made up for it. The rooms were clean, and beach access was just a few steps away. The food we purchased was enjoyable, though I didn’t care much for the beverages. The continental breakfast wasn’t to my taste, but a nice touch is that if you opt out, you receive a $5 credit toward the menu, which offers fairly priced options. The staff overall was friendly and welcoming, with the exception of one female security guard who was unfortunately quite rude. Do note that parking is very limited.

This hotel is perfectly located on the seven miles beach in Negril. It is also reasonably priced and the grounds are immaculately kept. The flowers are beautiful and the grounds keepers are wonderful and friendly. Some of the rooms are updated while others are not. Feel encouraged to advocate for yourself if you need a room change. The staff was very accommodating to us when we needed to change rooms. We could not escape the ants in the rooms. However, the property noted that it is consistently working to correct the issue. The main issue we had at this property was the service at the restaurant. They were extremely slow all the time, and believe it or not, they were slower to delivering service even when only few customers are there. Over 15 min wait for a cup of coffee! We spent 7 days here and the service was bad all 7 days. The drinks at the bar were not good! Overall, we would return there because our second set of rooms were lovely and there are plenty places around to eat with better service!
