🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I stayed at Coco Live Suites in May 2025 and had a fantastic experience. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was important for my work, and the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet—perfect for relaxing. The location is excellent, close to everything I needed. A big thank you to Omar, Cynthia, Karel, and Abi for being so friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great value and a calm, well-connected place to stay in Playa del Carmen.

Close to 5th Ave, with small fridge, good a/c and ceiling fan, and most importantly a hot plate stove with pans and plates to eat in if needed. Jorge at customer desk is phenomenal and is so willing to help to whatever need you have. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re not in a resort for Playa Del Carmen!

The property is located in a neighborhood close to the city center, though not central. It may feel a bit unsafe when returning alone late at night. The 24/7 reception is definitely a plus. However, during one night (from around 3:00 AM to 5:50 AM), some guests were watching a movie at full volume, making it impossible to sleep. I tried knocking on their door, but no one answered. I then informed the reception, who told me they were aware of the noise but couldn’t do anything since the guests wouldn’t open the door—unfortunately leaving other guests unable to rest properly. The next morning, there was no apology for the incident—only the option to change rooms, which I accepted, though it was a downgrade to a ground-floor room with almost no natural light (there is a wall in front of the window). Additionally, at check-in, I was asked to leave my passport, as they were apparently unable to make a copy. To get it back, I was asked to pay a fee, though no clear explanation for this policy was provided.
