Wonderful property with beautiful buildings and view. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The atmosphere is very peaceful and it never felt crowded despite being fully booked. We loved this stay! Our only point of improvement would be the breakfast offering. 24 euros per person was steep for what was offered and like someone else said for coffee from the machine as well, which is difficult for someone who cannot have dairy milk - however the food was delicious at the restaurant. Definitely go to es pati for dinner!
We had a wonderful stay at Es Figueiral Nou Hotel, it truly exceeded our expectations. The hotel and its surroundings are absolutely stunning, with every detail of the design thoughtfully curated to create a peaceful and elegant atmosphere. We were delighted to receive a complimentary room upgrade upon arrival, and the room was both beautiful and incredibly comfortable. The food was another highlight, both the breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were delicious, fresh, and full of local flavor. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, making us feel right at home throughout our stay. An unforgettable experience in a truly special place, we can’t wait to come back!
Our stay had a mix of positives and several service shortcomings. Positives: Housekeeping came daily. The hotel grounds were beautifully designed, with a great view from the property and a pleasant pool area — both contributed to a relaxing atmosphere. We also found the restaurant and poolside staff to be attentive and professional, which made meals and time by the pool quite enjoyable. Areas to improve: There was no in-room service beyond basic cleaning — we couldn’t get items like water or an ice bucket upon request. Our bathroom amenities were incorrect from day one (two shampoos, no body wash). We reported this to the front desk, and while they initially said they’d send the correct items later, nothing ever arrived. The bed cover we removed on the first night stayed on the floor for the rest of our stay, untouched. In our friends’ room, a used cleaning cloth was left on the nightstand after housekeeping. These oversights suggest that some additional training and quality control may be needed. Additionally, although the hotel describes itself as a “countryside four star superior hotel” (as stated in its response to other guest reviews), we found the complete lack of assistance — or even basic acknowledgment — surprising. As we carried our luggage to the room, front desk staff remained passive. This felt less like a design choice and more like a service gap. Final thoughts: None of these issues were major on their own, but collectively they gave the sense that the hotel was struggling to meet the level of service implied by its positioning and pricing— likely due to limited staff capacity, an issue that needs to be addressed. That’s why, overall, we’d rate our stay 3 out of 5.
