Cologne Marriott Hotel

Cologne Marriott is a comfortable, well-located full-service hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are relatively small, and on lower floors, facing the main thoroughfare, noise is audible into the early morning hours. The restaurant has a nice menu with very good food, and the bar is staffed with courteous bartenders who look well after their patrons. The gym is adequate, currently undergoing renovations.

We stayed two nights at the Koln/ Cologne Marriott in July 2025 and were very pleased by this clean, modern business hotel. Our family room was extremely spacious, quiet, and very clean. Highlights of the room included comfortable beds, a large closet and space for luggage, and a large bathroom with a great shower. There were ample outlets for charging devices around the room. The hotel is two blocks from the central train station and a 10-20 minute walk from most of Cologne's tourist sites and many dining options. We didn't use many of the hotel amenities with the exception of the breakfast buffet one morning, which had ample variety and was well stocked. It is a little on the expensive side, but we were able to get our money's worth. Service in the hotel was fine overall.

I have stayed at this Cologne Marriott Hotel 3 times now. You can't beat the location and the wonderful staff. They are incredibly helpful and friendly. They recommended a few great restaurants to us and could give useful details re: the train station. It's not a luxury hotel but still quite nice. This location is ideal, especially if you'll be traveling by train to or from Cologne. If you are staying with access to the executive lounge breakfast, it's very good.
