Unassuming exterior gave way to an incredible interior! Felt like a member of the family from the time I walked in! Room was comfortable, as were the common areas. Meals were delicious!

Staying at La Colombe Blanche in Moulay Idriss was one of the most personal and authentic experiences of my entire trip through Morocco. From the moment I stepped inside the riad, I felt welcomed — not just as a guest, but as part of the household. The hosts took time to explain the traditional Moroccan architecture — from the many steps to the tall archways and ceilings designed to keep the interior cool naturally. It worked. Walking in from the heat into tiled, beautifully decorated rooms was like entering a serene oasis. Every corner of the home was thoughtfully crafted and rich in Moroccan charm. My room was minimalist, spacious, and just right — perfect for keeping myself organized during my stay. But the real magic was the food: the kefta meatball and egg tagine was absolutely unforgettable, and the 7-vegetable couscous was the perfect pairing — full of flavor, warmth, and care. After exploring the city and catching a breathtaking sunset from the public terrace, we capped the night on the riad's rooftop — where we could hear a wedding celebration in the square below, complete with live music and the energy of belly dancing echoing through the streets. It was beautiful, joyful, and alive — just like Moulay Idriss itself. Thank you to the incredible family at La Colombe Blanche for your warmth, generosity, and for making this stay feel so special. I visited 8 cities in morocco and when i tell you this is THHEEEEEE BEST FOOD i had my whole vacation u best believe it. I came back and miss their food. AMAZINGGG. The family was very pleasant and welcoming. you could see the whole city from the rooftop. Staying here definitely made my experience at moulay idriss very special. the city was walkable and this place was in the middle of the city so it was really convenient.
