Colonels inn

Had a great stay here with my family. The property is old but well-maintained and spacious. This is more of a homestay than a hotel. Location-wise, it's great and close to the botanical garden. The staff is quite courteous and accommodating with our requests. The food is excellent here, and you can order dinner in advance. Breakfast has limited options, but it was tasty and sufficient. I had the best uttapam here. There is good parking space, and it is within walking distance of the center.

We have stayed here in Deluxe room with balcony for 2 nights and 3 days. We travelled with a one and half year old child. On request we got a heater in our room. Glass of milk is available which was very helpful for feeding our child. And the complimentary breakfast and paid dinner were delicious. Room boys and chefs were very helpful. We really enjoyed the balcony view and the atmosphere. We would highly recommend colonels Inn for families and couples.

In one word, its a total waste of money. The only good thing here is the food, which is decent not very good, and the location. The rooms are terrible and damp. There were flies and mosquitoes all over the place and there was a very bad smell in the building. Just a few hours after check-in, we left the hotel and went to another hotel. That's why, I do not know about the service. I would recommend 'Heritage View' which is a very good hotel(homestay/villa) at the same price range.
