Colosseum Corner

What a great location right next to the Colosseum! We did a night time underground tour and loved that we walked back to our room in less than 5 minutes. Their rooftop terrace is amazing!

A beautiful experience with a superbly comfortable stay at the hotel. The staff were welcoming, the rooms were spotless and cozy, and every detail was thoughtfully arranged. The Colosseum was right on the corner — absolutely spectacular! The terrace view of the Colosseum was truly unforgettable. Highly recommended for a relaxing and memorable getaway ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

On the positive side, the reception staff were welcoming and friendly. The room itself was always impeccably clean and well-maintained, which we really appreciated. However, there were a few notable issues. The rooms are not soundproof, and we were disturbed by drilling late at night and again early in the morning. Additionally, the noise from nearby bars and restaurants was quite audible. While we understand the hotel is located just off the main square, if you're looking for a quiet place to sleep, this might not be the best choice. To add to that, the bed and pillows were not particularly comfortable, which further impacted the quality of our rest. We also left one of our room keys inside the room. We were told we could contact the hotel at any time for assistance, but when we tried calling and texting the provided number around 11 PM, we got no response. As a result, we had to rely on a resident in the building to let us in, which was very inconvenient. The next day, the receptionist acknowledged the mistake and kindly offered us a free breakfast at a nearby café, which turned out to be a nice gesture and very delicious. Overall, while the location is fantastic and the staff were friendly, the noise and lack of after-hours assistance did leave a lot to be desired. I would recommend this hotel for those who prioritise location and don't mind some noise, but it might not be the best choice for a peaceful night's sleep.
