Colosseum Hotel

A decent hotel but would not say it's 4 stars. Maybe a high 3 star. Rooms were very big and comfortable but not as clean as it could have been. In the week I was staying there, the key card lock for my room door had issues twice and maintenance had to come and fix it.

From the moment I walked in, the hotel didn’t give off the expected "hotel" feel—it felt far too casual for a 4-star establishment. That said, the staff were friendly and welcoming, which was a positive start. Unfortunately, the room experience was disappointing. The lighting was dim, the bath plug was loose, and the mirrors were oddly placed, making them impractical. My room overlooked the parking area, where people smoked, so there was no real privacy unless I kept the curtains closed. The restaurant’s design was another letdown, with four different types of flooring that made the space feel mismatched and poorly put together. Overall, this hotel is not up to 4-star standards. It lacks the refinement and attention to detail expected at this level. People leaving perfect 10/10 ratings must not have experienced truly high-quality hotels. I’d recommend adjusting expectations before booking, but I definitely won’t be back.

We went for a spa day, and honestly, it was a bit disappointing. The lady giving me a massage was using her phone—one hand on the phone, one hand on me. When I called her out on it, she denied it and then suddenly claimed she was dying of cancer. It was just bizarre. On the bright side, the food menu is delicious and room service is pretty good, although the staff member didn’t knock - she just barged in, which was a bit off-putting. Everything else is okay, but honestly, it’s not as great as it looks online. The hallway smelled really bad, like someone had been painting or sweating - straight up armpits. It’s giving more 3-star than 4-star, in my opinion.
